FS: Mesa Scout 15 cabinet (Chicago)

SOLD!

Up for sale is my 4 ohm Scout 15" combo cabinet w/10" passive radiator and tweeter. It sounds great, particularly when paired with the Walkabout. The player control network, which lets you change the crossover frequency and adjust the level of the tweeter, provides significant flexibility. That's especially true when it's used in combination with the Walkabout's robust EQ section.

It plays well with other heads, too. You'll just need a female/female adaptor and a cable to hook your amp to it if it's resting on top of the cab. I'm only selling it because I'm more into the sealed-cab sound now--an NV610 is in my future.

I've taken a picture of the one cosmetic blemish. It looks like someone briefly left a cigarette on it, but the mark is small. I've had the cab in my smoke-free apartment since I bought it four years ago, so it doesn't smell at all. It weighs roughly 50 lbs., but it feels a bit lighter than that to me.

I'd like to keep this local for now. $400 takes it. (A a new 15" extension cab runs $800.)

It's from a combo. Sorry, I forgot I didn't post that pic (came out too blurry).

Come get it, Aaron! I'll meet up with you part way and shorten the drive. Or you can come to town and I'll buy you pizza--you can see the new Lakland shop, too.

Bump for a great cab - I own both the 12" and the 15" Scout, and the 15 is significantly louder and deeper.
