FS: Mesa Walkabout head only

I recently acquired a Scout combo with the intention of keeping the cabinet only, so the head is available. Early model brown-face. It appears to have spent most of its life in the rack. I turned it on, plugged in and played through it. It sounds great like it should.

I believe these to be rated at 300 watts @ 4 ohm load and I've read on these boards that it remains stable into a 2ohm load, though I've personally never attempted that. $485 shipped CONUS, will consider reasonable offers.

Free bump for one of the best heads ever made. I have been using my M6 Carbine live, but I just recorded with my Walkabout and I was blown away by the DI tone. I love these amps !

Where in the Bay Area are you ? Always nice to see local TB'ers here !

We just played a show in Danville a few weeks ago - A new club called "The Octagon" . I think it was San Ramon, actually.
