FS: Mesa Walkabout Scout 2x15 Custom Cabs

Sign in to disble this ad
Guys -- I bought a high end Bergantino to try out for a while. So, I'm offering this pair of custom Mesa Walkabout Scout 15" cabs, custom finished in wine lizard (I think that is what its called) with tan grills. Gorgeous. 4 ohms each. This is version does not have the player control network, selectable crossover. Does include tweeter level contols.

I am second owner. First owner was a studio (never gigged) and I've never gigged them. So, condition is 9 to 9.5 of 10. Some light scuffing, no dings, rips, etc.

The Scout really opens up in the 15" format. Quite luggable with neo drivers. Weigh 43 pounds each. Includes the Mesa covers fitted for each (Scout combo with handle on top and extension cab with handle on the side).

Price is $1000 for the pair. Price reduced to $800.

Pick-up preferred. I can arrange to meet you halfway if you are from Atlanta, Knoxville, Lexington, Asheville. I'm in Knoxville.

Buyer pays shipping plus packing cost.

No trades, please.

Now for the cool pics:

I assume they are 8 ohm each?

How much does the one with the head weigh when mounted with it?

They are each 4 ohms. Good question. Both can be run from the Walkabout amp at 2 ohms total load, no problem.

The amp is 13 pounds -- so the 15 combo weighs in at 56 pounds.

Mesa website says they Scouts are Neo drivers. Got the weight from their site, too.

Wish I didn't live about as far away in the US as possible from you! Beautiful and I just got my Xmas bonus (which I promised myself I wouldn't dare spend on gear of course!).

I'm there, I think. I have the shipping cartons stored away somewhere. Buyer pays shipping on these, OK? I ship FedEx ground and its usually very reasonably priced.
