| FS: Mesa Walkabout Scout combo, mint, SACRAMENTO CA, will ship! UPDATE AS OF JAN 28: FULL PAYMENT RECEIVED. CLOSING THREAD NOW.
UPDATE AS OF JAN 27: ON HOLD PENDING PAYMENT MONDAY MORNING.
FOR SALE ONLY (no trades):
Late version mint condition Mesa Walkabout Combo bass amp, 4-ohm, 12" speaker, Player Control Network.
This version came from the factory with the active/passive switch in the front, and the effects loop bypass switch in the back. That's what I mean by "late version". In other words, it wasn't sent back to the factory for those upgrades...it already came with them.
Never gigged. Only kept in my non-smoking home. I bought this wonderful combo amp, and then never used it! Absolute new condition.
This is the best sounding combo amp I have ever used or owned! I can understand why these amps get so much love here on Talkbass. This thing is a compact tone machine! And as you know, the head can be removed and used with larger cabs if you so desire.
The only reason I am selling it is because I picked up an old (1972) Ampeg B25B tube amp a couple of weeks ago and I'm going to use that for my practice/small venue rig once I have a tech go through the Ampeg and after I have a custom cab made for it.
You won't be disappointed with this Mesa Walkabout Scout. Built like a tank, and fantastic tone! I am seeking $750 firm shipped CONUS.
My pricing is $700 for the amp itself, and $50 for shipping. For a local sale where you pick up the amp and pay me cash, it would just be $700 even. I won't go any lower. Rather than post a higher price and then do the usual "negotiate down thing", I just decided to skip all that and go straight to the bottom line price to sell.
If you have shopped around, you already know that $750 shipped CONUS is a good price for one of these, especially a late version in mint condition.
I accept Paypal.
I am located in the Sacramento area of California.
Thanks! Pics to follow......(click on pics to enlarge)
