Everyone knows this one (and if you don't you shouldn't call yourself a bass player
), the Ampeg 810E!
Cabinet was purchased new from West Music Coralville in 2007 and is one of the last USA made 810E's before Ampeg decided to send it all over to Asia. I have been the only owner.
The good:
-8.5/10 condition
-All original speakers
-Never actually been gigged (it's lived a studio life)
-Sounds great (duh!)
-Sadistically loud (Can pretty easily drown out an entire metal band)
The bad:
-Although it's surprisingly easy to move with the wheels, towel bar and skid rails, it's still really heavy
-One rip in the back tolex a few inches long
-some scuffing on the back
The reason for selling this beast is back problems. Actual back problems, like a stress fracture and disk issues. Additionally I no longer have a truck available for transporting. That said, I should be able to borrow a vehicle to move it in for the sale. I'd be willing to drive a few hours from Iowa City, IA. I'm in the Twin Cities a lot as well as St. Louis and Chicago. Basically if you're interested and kind of close to the Eastern Iowa area just message me and we can work something out.
The big question, how much?

As far as trades go I'd be interested in lightweight 210's and 410's like Markbass, GK Neo/MB, GoLight, etc. However I'm mostly looking for cash.
