Unfortunately, due to medical issues and no longer being in a band where I play bass, I need to sell off some of my gear. Up on the block today is my American-made Ampeg SVT-3 Pro, sitting inside (most of) a SKB rack case. Why most of? One of the covers is missing. The main unit is protected, and you have the choice of protecting the front or back when you have it locked up. If you don't know what I mean, you'll see in the photos.
Here's the specs:
- American-made Ampeg SVT-3 Pro tube preamp/solid state poweramp
- SKB rack case, missing one of the front/back covers
- Preamp tubes are a full set of JJs I bought from Eurotubes. If I can find them, I will also include the stock tubes (or at least the ones that were in the amp when I bought it used).
- Includes the Ampeg footswitch and a TRS cable for the footswitch (mute, EQ on/off)
- Has seen light gigging, and maybe 100 hours of playtime on the JJ preamp tubes
- Includes the power cable and also a speakon cable
Asking $425 for the lot. I live in Chicago, IL, and absolutely do not want to ship this thing. Note that if you want to come play around with it,
I don't have a cab for you to play through so you'll either have to take my word for how great the thing sounds or bring a cab yourself.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Note: I deliberately redacted the serial number in the photos. If you're someone with decent feedback I can send you a version of the photo without the redaction.
