FS/FT Mike Pope/Fodera Preamp/DI Pedal

Sign in to disble this ad
I just used the DI (Jensen) in the studio as well as having on my pedal board and this thing is incredible, the tone and versatility are what you would expect from a Mike Pope design.
This will drive a Slave amp no problem and can be used as a standalone.
This had been a custom build for someone that wanted a DI added to a Fodera style pedal.
It has bass and treble Boost and mid cut or boost with a mid stomp button to use the mid EQ or leave it flat,so you could either scoop it or boost it and switch back and forth from flat or the setting you choose.
I have been using it in front of my Shuttle 6.0 to boost and enhance the signal and it helped the shuttle sound even better and I was able to get more volume out of the shuttle without the clipping light coming on so much.
There are some other posts on this that might also descibe it a little more.
Asking $350 Shipped to the CONUS.
Will also entertain trade offers.

Is it the same preamp as the 2000 model with added DI?

That is what I believe it is but it was a Custom build so I wouldnt know for sure unless I talked to Mike himself about it.
It is a Jensen DI so you know it is going to sound great.

It is the same design as the Model 2006/Model 2010 (which are precisely the same design but for the name). The model 2000 was a little different, but tuned the same, though even with those, the first 100 or so were yet a little different.

This preamp, however, is tuned differently and yes, it has the Jensen DI in it and I THINK maybe a pre/post DI switch but I don't remember. That could be done easily, though.
