FS: Nearly new Schroeder 1212R $400 plus shipping

Lowered price...

Up for sale is a nearly new Schroeder 1212R for $400. This is 4 ohm, 1000 watt, 39 pound cabinet that has been great while I've used it over the past couple of years.

The good/bad news is that I have a bad case of tendonitis that isn't getting better and it really hasn't been use over the last year and a half that I've owned it.

That means that it's barely used, carpet covering is in excellent shape and I expect it will be a superior cabinet for whoever buys it.

I'd prefer a local/Front Range of Colorado sale to save the shipping, but if you are willing, so am I. I'd expect that the shipping would be around $40 or so and I can probably pick up a heavy duty triple wall shipping box to ship it in from my office.

I'll post pictures in a couple of days, but it is a cabinet after all - (rectangular box - not much to look at - but something well worth listening to) - so if you've seen Jorg's website at www.schroedercabinets.com, you'll know what you are buying.

Thanks again and please PM me if you are interested.

John

Are you sure this is the R and not the L version? The L version is about 39LBS while the R is about 54LBS. If Schroeder is making a 39LB R version with ceramic drivers... well, just wow.

Bump for ya.

The cabinet is definitely a "R" model and not a "L" model. Cabinet weighs in at 56 pounds on my bathroom scale.

REALLY it isn't that heavy or cumbersome either. It is a 1000 watts of pure loudness though. It slams every 4x10 that I've ever owned too.

This isn't a designed for a small lightweight "micro" rig but instead a bone-crushing, ear-punishing, punch-you-in-the-face style of rig for regular working musicians that gig. I had a SVT pre connected to a Carvin 1500 watt amp and never had the amp turned up more than half way. I played a few outdoor events and stage volume was never a problem even with multiple sets of mains. This cabinet definitely has power that you feel... I also used this cabinet at church festivals and it was never a problem there either - even at low volumes, it has tone, depth and clarity. Really good stuff.

Yeah, its a great cab. I had a 1212r for about a year or so. Mine was about 55LBS as well and I found it very manageable. The small form factor makes it easy to fit almost anywhere. Cuts thru a mix like a hot knife thru butter. I'd love to get another someday, but the timing just isnt quite right.

Good luck with the sale.
