SOLD Nidacore fEARful™ 1515/66/1

Sign in to disble this ad
This is for the CAB ONLY. no drivers, crossover, or grille will be included.

Asking SOLD

This cab has never been gigged and has been sitting and covered since it was brought to the New England meet n greet last April. It is in pristine shape. It is covered in high quality black carpet with black plastic extrusions and corners for edge protection. It weighs 72 lbs when complete. We stopped using nidacore and this is truly one of a kind. Nidacore is a high tech composite that is over $200 for a 4'x8' sheet. It is very stiff and very strong due to the honeycomb core and fiberglass skins. A typical plywood 1515/66 weighs 90+ lbs.

It has tilt back casters, top/back corner handles, side dish handles, and a 4x7" jack plate with two parallel Speakon connectors and a tweeter L-pad.

This is a GREAT deal for someone to purchase and finish. You can buy everything you need in a kit from speakerhardware.com. I have over $800 into it, so this is truly a steal. Its protective plastic wrap has been gathering dust for too long!

You can see pics of the build here: Nick's 1515/66/1 -

p.s. my builder put the handles on upside down. They're right side up now.

Actually it is TWO 15/6's

pm me, I may have just what you're looking for.

I'm lowering the price IF it gets sold today to a mere SOLD plus shipping.

I looked up shipping to Arizona, which is about as far as it gets from Connecticut. UPS was $260, but I looked at greyhound freight and it is only $95. Basically I drop it off at a greyhound station, they put it on a bus and you pick it up at a greyhound station. I haven't used it, but I've heard good things. Obviously UPS is more convenient being door to door, but for a big item like this the $150 savings might be worth a small trip.
