Definitely handles the mids and highs with ease, but it gets surprisingly low as well. Not earth-shaking low. (that's what the Omni 10 underneath it is for), but for it's size, it's a versatile little cab. On a side-note, I also installed a little toggle switch on the back that cuts the tweeters on and off. I usually play with them off. And if anyone wants to know why I'm selling it... I originally built it because a full-size Omni was too big for some occasions (practice, coffee shops, etc), but I've since replaced it with a combo (that I also built). For those that want to know about my experience building cabs, I've built three total, so that might tell you something. Quote:

it's my understanding that the half size and full size versions are tuned the same. I thoght it was 50 hz, but could be 45 as Teej says.
I have 2 of these and find that one of the more notable features of them is that they are built like tanks. Though they weigh very little, the interior design of the horns and baffle have dual purpose to add a tremendous amount of rigidity to them. I think a gorilla could dance on one and not cause trouble.
Another notable feature is that they are VERY loud compared to comparable 110's. I loaded an avatar deltalite 2510-II into a DIY 110 reflex cab and I liked it a lot... sounded nice yada yada. I put the same driver into a 10.5 and it brought the volume to a WHOLE new level.
Not earth shattering lows, but that is also probably perception in that the mids and upper mids ooze out effortlessly.
IMO anyone considering a generic 2x10 as a top cab for a 1x15 etc woofer setup would do well to forgo the 210 and grab a 10.5 omni.
bump

My Omni 10 doubles as a seat for company when I run out of chairs. I love my O10/10.5 setup -- the 10 puts out the lows, while the 10.5 takes care of the highs and mids and blends everything together quite nicely.
One idea I've had lately is actually to sell its full-sized brother and the combo I recently completed, and make another 10.5, but with a built-in 2-space rack so I could daisy chain the two or use just the one if needed.
Hurry before I go project crazy! Quote:

I opted not to, insted figuring I could make a 3/4 or a 2 space rack with some of those clamps they use for securing rack case lids etc to be used to secure the airhead top to the cab. NEver did it, but I think its a good idea.

These things kick booty.

Anyway, it's still for sale or trade, although I need money now more than ever.
Why you ask? I'm buying a ring for my girl!
