This Ashdown MAG 300 head is in great shape. I got it used a few years ago and have basically used it as a practice amp at home. (I have used it playing out a few times as well.) It shows no signs of abuse or wear and everything works. I’ve never had any issues in the few years I’ve regularly used it. I don’t adjust on it constantly and the output volume can get a little scratchy if it isn’t moved much. The D.I. has always been nice and quiet.
I took this on trade from a TBer and was impressed how it sounds. I like that fact that it has a nice warm tone for a solid state amp, but can get very punchy and clear as well. I bought a used Ampeg for a practice to match the one I use out, otherwise I’d be happy to keep and use this good sounding and light amp.
As I understand it this is an older amp that says “Manufactured in England.” (Possibly an Ashdown expert can correct this if they all say this.)

(White spots on the cover are lint not damage.)
The close up of the back has a dark shadow at the top of the pic. The amp is not discolored.
Model sticker on back says 300h (I’m no Ashdown aficionado, so I can’t say what that means.)
