Well I'm starting my Monique fund. I absolutely love my U5 and has performed unbelievably with everything I threw at it. From using it in the studio, to using it as a pre into the fx return of my EBS combo, and I even used to run it into the input of my Read purity pre which sounded awesome.
But I have major G.A.S. syndrome! I cant sit still for a sec, and all this talk about this girl Monique is making me giddy, so I have to bite and try it! LOL!
I literally toted this around like an infant. I always transported it in a heavy duty padded laptop bag. The U5 works equally well for both passive and active basses (I used it with my Fodera).
