Selling my GK 800RB. Older horizontal switch, date code
indicates 2-88 production. I'll spare you all the "older ones
are better" hype, you can make up your own mind on that.
I will admit to reading enough Talkbass that when I decided
I wanted an 800, I waited around to find an older one :}
This was one of the cleaner ones I found, so I grabbed it.
I've played some gigs with it, driving a pair of Eden cabs.
Tested it in both bi-amp mode and full range. The separate
volumes were very useful, since I ran a 210/410 pairing.
The amp has the expected paint loss here and there, but not
as much as many I looked at. One cooling fin (the one with
the serial number sticker on it) is a bit tweaked at the top,
but not so much that I could get a photo to show it. All
the knobs have the caps on them. It even has the original
box.
Looking for $325 shipped to lower 48. Paypal preferred.
Please no trades, I just bought another amp and I need
to recycle the money!
