In the Detroit area Dean Zink is the guru of all things tube, I've had this to Dean twice, for a full go through when I purchased it in 2003 and recently for a going away check up. Everything is perfect and it bench tests at
312 watts. Dean says that he wouldn't even consider a tube change with this unless something actually blew. He commented that to the right tube buyer the tube set alone may be more valuable than the entire head to a bass player.

A few years ago I had Don at LDS refinish this cab and he did a wonderful job, as he does with his own cabs.
- All tolex removed and tough box spray coated, it is indestructible!
- Custom metal grill, also tough box coated
- New chrome corners
- he remounted the chincey Ampeg back plate to be much stronger when handling the speakon connectors.
This stack combined is not the easiest to haul, but melts faces, not simply with volume, but pure tube goodness.
I am willing to cut a package deal if someone would like to keep these together!
$1400/pair; pickup in Grand Rapids or I get to Detroit a couple of times a month and can work out delivery/meeting in the surrounding area.
