FS ONLY: Mesa Walkabout $525 Shipped

Sign in to disble this ad
Picked this up here not too long ago, but cannot justify putting this much dough in a backup amp. Offering it up for what I got it for. When I got this, the side-handle had been removed as this amp had been living in a rack. Rack ears, handle, and power cable included with sale. The previous owner sent this one in to Mesa back around the beginning of the year for the active/passive switch and effects loop bypass switch upgrades, along with installation of two new preamp tubes.

Shipped price is FedEx Ground to lower 48US only. Paypal preferred. This one is already packed up and ready to ship. I'll get it to the FedEx terminal asap after you hit my Paypal.

NO TRADES.

Badge on the bottom of amp says WK 000016.

Not sure what, if any, significance to ascribe to this.

FWIW, my guitar friend owns Mesa stuff and he has mentioned in the past that he has been told they were notoriously sketchy back in the day in the way they assigned serial numbers. He's called up to Petaluma more than once with a serial number attempting to get build date info on an amp, only to be told they have no idea.

Don't mean to derail the thread, but where on earth do you get the rack ears for the WA? I can't for the life of me find them!
