Just got this bad boy a month or so ago but I need to raise funds for a recent purchase. Asking $160 shipped. Here's what I know:
This is a discontinued yet widely-sought Yamaha PB-1 bass preamp. Solid-state but very tube-like in tonal character. Its also got to be one of the heaviest pre's I've owned! The control layout is based on the Fender tonestack (?).
*Volume
*Bass
*Mid
*Treble
*Para EQ including boost/cut, bandwidth, and freq
*Adjustable H & LPF's for bi-amp operation
*Headphone out w/ level control
*Standard, bi-amp, and DI/XLR outs on back, effects loop
This particular unit is a little rough around the edges cosmetically but works perfectly. Missing one screw from the top cover plate but still tight & secure.
