FS: Pearce B2P Amp

Ok, here's the deal. Gas attack occured while browsing a few posts here. I'm still not totally convinced there's a legitimate need for all that gear. In order to get over that little ethical and financial hurdle, I figured I could submit my Pearce B2P to the appreciation of my fellow TBers.

I've got the unit used some 15/16 years ago and it's in the same rack ever since. It did see a little action for a while (fifty some gigs on the whole) and was quiet for the last 7 to 8 years (like his owner, I'm afraid to say). Everything is in great working conditions (may need a little cleaning and will be checked before any deal).

The B2P offers

2 output channels of 300 watts - 4 ohm (per side) or 600 watts bridged mono - 8 ohm;

2 inputs channels (footwitch not included but easy to find) with independant eq, limiter and "speaker damping" options
-each channel equiped with different stages of preamplification for an array of tonal possibilities, from a mild overdrive to a screaching distorsion (à la Billy Sheehan).
I've never really used the Pearce in that fashion, always going for a cleaner and punchier tone that the BP2 delivered effortlessly.

5 effect loops, mono/bi-amp/stereo capabilities, DI (XLR).

Very efficient, great sounding and an amazingly versatile amp.

Comes with the user's manual.

Looking for 600$ (OBO), + shipping and paypal fees.

Thanks.

Double Bump.

Folks, I had one of these. The only reason I let it go was that I was not playing out at all and sold most of my rig.

These are killer amps with gobs of headroom, versatility, an awesome switchable comp and best of all, it's NOT very heavy.

A way cool amp to be hanging around this long !!

PM replied.

As far as trades are concerned I would be interested in a lightweight 4 ohm cab (wizzy style + cash coming my way) or a lightweight do-it-all 8 ohm (around 650-800 watts + $$ on my part).

Oh! And Happy Holidays for all!!!
