For sale: Peavey 115 BX BW

115 BX BW (Black Widow 8 ohm) - $180
Freq response 30Hz - 3.5Khz
700 Watts program
Box tuned at 40Hz
One 1/4" speaker cable jack

I bought this cab used maybe 11 years ago, it's been awesome for me, I did something stupid once, during a big trashcan ending during a garage jam, I cranked my pre-amp all the way up, and burned out the voicecoil on the BW. So I had to go buy a new one, put it in, and all tested ok. I have been using this thing since then, it's been flawless, performed with no issues whatsoever. It's been used in a bar two times, other than that, nothing but garages and churches. I added casters so this thing can roll around, I ordered the casters directly from Peavey, they were the ones that were specifically recommended for this cab. I powered the cab with a PV 8.5C, which was about 850 watts at 8 ohms, it handled it no problem of course, the Black Widow can handle a lot more than the Sheffield, and it can handle more than I would ever throw at it.

I've been advised that it's difficult to sell a cab here on TB, because of the cost of shipping. So if you are interested in this cab, drop me a note, I'd probably like to share the cost of shipping.

This cab is better-sounding than you think. It's also easy to handle for its size. I had one for a short time and enjoyed it a lot. Sometimes I miss it. Good luck.

You say you're selling a cab but I see a pic of the amp, no?
