FS: Peavey Classic 400 all tube bass amp

Sign in to disble this ad
I hate to see it go but I need the cash.

400 watts of all tube goodness. 5, 12ax7s and 1, 12at7 preamp. 8, 6550s in the power section.

Switchable clean and crunch channels (can use separate or combine with button on front or use a footswitch - not included)

effects loop, 2 direct outs, xlr with pre/post eq switch or 1/4" (1/4" is a mod by my amp tech and has a trim pot to adjuist the output level)

amp gone over completely by tech and in full working order

$600 plus actual shipping - cheap considering yba 200s with 1/2 that watts are selling for $500.

this amp weighs around 100lbs plus the tubes will be removed and shipped separate so shipping wont be cheap - local pickup preferred or will meet within a reasonable distance - you are welcome to come by and try out the amp if interested

This is a 400 watt monster, I've no idea why these go so cheap.

it really is a nice sounding amp - very versatile with the clean and cruch channel and the switching/combining between them
