Just noticed you were in Tacoma. If I were in the area I'd be on my way to pick it up. I used to have one , and sold it because I couldn't handle the weight anymore. Great amp. Good luck with your sale.

This thing is a monster. It is one of the loudest combos out there. Unfortunately I don't gig and with the volume on 2 in my living room it rattles the walls. This would be great for a loud garage band playing 70's and 80's rock.

Thumbs up I endorse and declare these are Great AMPS

I've had my DataBass of 23 years recently reconditioned for $240. It's a wonderful amp. Two things i did right away. I bolted 4, 4" casters on the bottom and moved the rubber feet to the side. I've played quiet restuarant gigs, outdoors gigs, clubs, and big stage venues with this amp.. I've never had the post over 3, typically 2 or less and the pre I set between 3-5. Sounds great and tight. (Perfect for helping out any drummer)
It once or twice fell out of a van, still worked like a honey badger. The ports, I sealed up when I did the casters. I didn't like the whistling exhibited, and changing to a sealed enclosure tightened up the bass and may have helped the woofer not over extend with the steady pressure. There is also a Fan that helps to cool the rig down, one can't help but to notice. I've also used it as a subwoofer with an Eden 210 cabinet with an Ampeg 150 watt head. Sounded really great for bottom Punch, but tricky to balance the two together.

I would encourage anyone to to buy his amp. It's reliable, small -fit's in the front seat of a 1992 firebird (with casters), 450 watts, you'll never use them all but their there for moral support. Also serves me as decent dolly for other gear, and oh yeah, not too many can say nowadays, it was made in the USA.
I think $350 is a bargain, even if one ends up doing a little work or repair to it. The vintage re-cover is class!

I also Happened to play through a brand new Ampeg 500 watt 210 fliptop model.. very cool, almost cool enough to try and sell my Databass, but I'm sentimental and it still works. I figure it's the Front of house that I want to go through, I use mine as the monitor that sets the band level. The Ampeg would be my second choice if I couldn't get a Databass, although made its in china?

Bump for a great combo.
Here is what some others have to say: http://www.harmonycentral.com/products/92136

I am willing to ship it at the buyers expense. (it weighs 65-70lb so it probably won't be cheap)

Bump for a great amp, nothing louder in it's physical footprint! If I were in your neighborhood, it would be mine....
