FS: Peavey Megabass head

Sign in to disble this ad
Just got this Megabass back from getting a looking over by the Peavey guys in Meridian, Mississippi. There wasn't anything wrong with it and they soldered a couple of connections to tighten it up. It sounds great, but I just don't need it for the bands I am in right now. Here are some quick specs:
The specs are 200wx2@4ohms. biamp/fullrange. Crossover. 7 band EQ. with high and low shelving, chorus too. You can find the manual here:
http://www.peavey.com/support/search...ved.cfm?page=M
It is all boxed up and ready to go. $260.00 including shipping to U.S. address. I am geoffn58 on ebay if my feedback here isn't enough. Here is the only pic that I have.
Thanks,
G.

Hi there,
The price is stated in the first ad. It's 300 bux which includes U.S. shipping via FedEx.

It's all about the offers at this point. This is a great head; powerful, chorus is nice, crossover action, eq, and more!

Wow, what a trip down memory lane! I ran one of these for about three years back in the early 90's. Totally cool sounding amp. All the best with the sale.

Thanks VroomVroom! I think people don't really know these heads and how great they are. This one was even just gone over by Peavey factory techies and plays like new. Ah well, it won't kill me to keep it either.

I dropped the price. Would also trade for a decent Peavey bass.

Thanks rpsands! You are right about the chorus. It sounds great and you can apply it to a specific frequency range by using the crossover. I use it on the highs through one cabinet and run the lows clean through another and it sounds simply huge!
