FS: Peavey Pro Bass 500 Amp

I have a Peavey Pro Bass 500 for sale. In great working condition. Tube preamp currently housing a new production Mullard 12AX7. Some tubey overdrive can be dialed in using the Pre Gain control, then Post Gain can be adjusted so you're not clipping. I like this amp, but I've been using a power/pre setup for a little while now, so this amp is mostly collecting dust, so it deserves a good home where it will be used.

Lots of great features, so I'll try to highlight some of the more important ones here. Front of amp: Mute button, Input Pad, Hi Boost button (+8db at 5.5kHz), Low Cut button (-3db at 125Hz), Low Boost/Cut (30Hz), High Boost/Cut (10kHz), Contour (scooped tone), 3-band Parametric EQ for Low Mids, Mids, and High Mids (adjustable frequency, boost/cut, and bandwidth), DDT enable/disable switch, Master Volume, etc. Back of amp: Ground Polarity switch, 1/4" and Speakon speaker outputs, Power Amp In, Pre Amp Out, Effects Loop w/ Effects Mix level control, XLR output w/ pre/post, ground/lift, and level control, Tuner Send, and Aux Input.

Output is 500 watts @ 2 ohms, 350 watts @ 4 ohms, and 200 watts @ 8 ohms. Weighs 24.8 lbs. according to the manual. Takes up 2 rack spaces. Manual even includes some suggested settings if you're into that sorta thing.

Price is $250. Because shipping won't be cheap on this item, I think $30 to the lower 48 States seems reasonable. PM or e-mail if interested or if you have questions.
