This is a relist as I have replaced the grill with the original and added new pics.
Has new matched sextet of JJ's in the power section and new Trace Elliot 12ax7s in the pre. I had it re-biased and had one of the best mods you can do to these amps... replacing the xlr speaker out with a Speak-on connector. It still has a 1/4" speaker jack as well. This was professionally done and the amp gone over by the famous Lansing tech "Enzo". The amp has a clean bill of health.
With so many amps I've put a max of 10 hours on this amp, so the tubes are "near as new with out you having to put $300 in to it".
300 watts of tube tone. Not to debate the tube vs SS but it is way louder than my kilowatt HeartRock II and simply kills the SVT in volume and potential grunt, IMHO.
A firm price of 1350, crated, shipped and insured to the 48. Picked up or internationally shipped on your dime, 1300.

I have some local interest now but until I have a concrete commitment, I will keep the thread up.
I have several TE amps and I need to scale back my "collection" to empty my lower level music room to build out an apartment for a relative. I guess I will be using my headphone amp at home

Seriously, I think the silkscreen guy was burning more than plates when he did the screen for the back of the amp.
FWIW: There is some information posted here on the board where someone tested the TE V's and the V6 with 6 KT-88s was 386 watts, and the V8 with 8 KT-88s put out 520 watts.
I would rather under promise and over deliver.
