FS: Schroeder 1212L (early model)

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD! For sale: a Schroeder 1212L bass cabinet, one of the early ones with the angled driver (No. 147). It's a 4-ohm cab, 800 watts, with two neodymium woofers and a titanium 200-watt tweeter w/ volume control & both Neutrik & 1/4-inch plug inputs.

Cab's in good to great condition, with scuff marks and some fuzzed-up carpet from a couple years of gigging. It's not mint, but it's not ratty, either. It's a superb cab for gigging because of its power handling, its compact size, its weight (47 lbs, I think), its sound (sits in a mix really well … but most of you guys know that already), etc. Price includes a padded cover.

Asking $400 obo, and I prefer a local sale in the Dallas area, though I'll consider shipping to CONUS if the buyer splits the cost and no one local bites. No international deals (I may consider Canada, but at the buyer's extra cost), and no trade offers, please. I'm selling my entire rig (life needs, hehe … gotta do what you gotta do); please check my other FS items for some killer gear!

This is an amazing cab - I have an 8 Ohm version that I use with my MarkBass CMD121P to make a 3 x 12 stack - sounds fantastic and I think it is a lot lighter than 47 lbs - maybe 37. It is very small and super loud and clear.

D'oh!

Typo alert! 37 lbs. it is ... seriously: I carried this in one hand and my 4-space rack in the other for gigs (loud alt-rock band). The cab sounds amazing; I never considered anything else after I got it in mid-2008. Bought it from its original owner in the Dallas area.

I believe the actual spec from Schroeder is 42LBS. Great cab for cutting thru a dense mix and loud as hell.

Bump for what was my cab originally. Great balance of size, weight and sound.

Heyya, BTH!

Yup: it's your old baby! She's served me quite well the past three-plus years. Nothing but good times, tunes & tones came out of it. It's a mix master!
