FS/FT: Steelsound/Legion 2x12 - Loaded - 4ohm - 700W

Steelsound/Legion 2x12 - Loaded - $200 - 4ohm - 700W - Shipped!

I already have an Avatar 2x12, so I truly have no use for this (especially now that I've got my old 2x15 Peavey up and running). This cabinet is essentially brand new, with upgraded plastic corners that I just installed (from MF). I recently added some fairly inexpensive PA speakers that are rated at 350W - 8ohms (ea) and are brand new. I am seriously surprised at the sound of this cabinet, it really does sound fabulous with my Yorkille 400B head (which is probably going to be up for sale soon). After shipping this cost me $150, plus about $90 for the speakers and other miscellaneous items. I am willing to ship the cabinet (I'm also willing to eat any PayPal fees) at my expense.

Thanks for viewing, feel free to PM me or you can email me at robert(at)digressionrecords.com Trades will be considered as well.

Rock On!

B/C I've gotten a lot of questions regarding this... This is a BRAND NEW cabinet that I bought unloaded the same week that I sold all 4 of my SWEEET Tech Soundsystem drivers. I tried selling this unloaded for what I paid, and got no bites. I then went out and bought some 12" speakers that I thought would sound "OK" and weren't very expensive, turns out that the speakers are a good match for this cabinet. I was surprised and impressed with how good this cabinet sounds. It's def. not high end, but it really does sound very good. I am not in a great need to sell it, which is why I'd LOVE a cool trade on this! (priority to basses and amps)

These are a really well made all plywood, NOT MDF cab. This will make somebody a real happy camper. Somebody buy it up. You will be happy with this cab. They are built to last.

Curious: what did steelsound do for horn/crossover here, and are those still in the cab?

sorry chef... I missed your question earlier. the tweeter that's installed is a piezo that doesn't require a crossover. I have to admit, having owned a couple different cabs with different tweeter, I totally expected to hate the piezo, I liked it so much that I'm debating adding one to one of my other cabs. I didn't throw a ton of power at the cabinet when I had it loaded up with the Tech Speakers, but I didn't notice anything but nice sounds coming from the tweeter when I was playing through it.

Thanks for looking!

Really? It doesn't have even a passive non-attenuated crossover in there somewhere?

There's just a piezo in there, nothing else, I hooked it all up, so I paid particular attention to that. If you want to read up on how its wired check this link (http://colomar.com/Shavano/2x12wiring.html) and read down where it talks about piezo hookup. I'm not an audio technician, but apparently there's a set crossover limit of sorts built into a piezo.

I don't know the brand of speakers, I got them from a bulk speaker place online. I'll weigh it, but food for thought... from feel its at least 15 pounds lighter than my Avatar Delta 2x12... I'll try and weigh it at some point.

ON HOLD! For BassSurfer
