FS Sunn 2000s

Sign in to disble this ad
Sunn 2000s head in great condition. 120 watts, a 4 ohm and an 8 ohm input. It is in great condition and I have seen these go for several hundred dollars more in worse condition. Works perfectly and is very loud. According to the previous owner, it was set up about a year ago with Svetlana 6550's. I can provide better pics on request. It is an amazing head, I just have the opportunity to step up to something else. If the other amp sells, I'm pulling this listing. PRICE DROP LOCAL PICKUP ONLY $800 if you pick it up before Monday!

Hmm... the crazy-pure tone of the 200S with more control & headroom?

Someone please remove this or I might have to take me a little road trip.

This thing is in amazing condition...no rips in the tolex (except one very small one on the bottom side of the head), the front grill is very clean with no stains, has the original back panel, no corrosion except for a very small amount on the knobs.

I hate to think of getting rid of this thing because it's in such great shape and sounds so good, but there is another amp for sale for a great price that I'd love to get. Like I said, if the other amp goes, the Sunn stays, so anyone who is interested should act now

I had that exact same rig back in the day. Awesome. Somebody stole the head from the truck so I picked up an Acoustic 370 to power the cabs. Also awesome. These don't come up often, so make that road trip!

I'm in New York, and I'd even consider driving out there... That's beautiful!

Sunn

In the '70s I toured with two 2000S heads and 4 cabinets, 2 large 215's and 2-118 Colosseum. If you ever want to talk with me about the experience you'll have to speak up, the ears haven't been the same since! GREAT AMPS.

They're actually 415M cabs. I'd consider letting one of them go if the head goes too.

Price drop to $850

Sunn

A big bump for one of the cleanest 2000S I've seen in years.

It's not too heavy. Definitely easier to carry than my last amp, a Fender 400PS. The only thing that makes the Sunn hard to carry is the single handle. Come on...someone please buy this...I'm gassing on a great deal on another amplifier.

Price dropped to $800 for a local pickup if you pick it up before Monday! This is a great price for a head in such good shape as this one. As I've said, I've seen 2000s' go for several hundred more in much worse condition than this one. This one is squeaky clean.

No real interest so far...I know that the local pickup only has a lot to do with it, but come on, I think this is a great price for such a mint amp. The 415M on the right in the pics is also now for sale, by the way.

Make me some offers, people! I may end up willing to ship...just PM me if you are interested in any way.

UGH! THIS IS SO PAINFUL. I'd love to scrounge the cash for it to go on my 2000s cab, but I don't think I can. Pretty awesome price too.
