FS: Goliath III NYC area.. (might be pre-fender?) $340 obo
so, shipping this is not an option, but I might bring it to philly or allentown area....
I live in the bronx, in nyc
cab is in my practice space in queens, whitestone
rays lawnmower shop! its a music practice studio, dont worry ....
you can come over and try it out, with a 300 watt ampeg....tubey warmy creamy-ness!
now , I use the 6x10 ampeg cab that is there, and dont need this monster anymore.
so, can you guys tell me if this is pr-fender? can you tell from the pics? the grill is not the "bumpy" type...it is smooth
and, I will deliver in the NYC area, maybe jersey, just hit me up...
yah, and it has rat fur....
sounds like my high school girl on prom night....loud and clear!
the grille is attached, I just had it off to check the drivers....
and, I do have the SWR label, it has since fell off and I didnt want it back on there....

But it's a good cab nonetheless. I used to own one.

I have not hooked it up to the ampeg

You could run both cabs the 610 and the SWR for a 2.66ohm load thru the Ampeg SVT2. |

4 ohms only? | As was said, see how the amp is labeled. Some tube amps, like the Mesa 400+ and the Orange AD200, can handle an 8 Ohm load. With tube amps, you can safely go down to half of the expected load, for periods of time, without any difficulty. So an Ampeg, set to 4 Ohms, could run a 2 Ohm load without damage. Higher impedances, however, are bad. SS amps can handle higher impedances, albeit at lower power outputs, but will overheat, and possibly get damaged, at lower impedances.

Hmmm, don't know how deep it is-- I can check and measure at next practice.
