FS : SWR SM 400

For Sale : SWR SM 400. I purchased this head about 6 months ago to use in my basement rehearsal space. It's been used maybe 3 times since then, as I've opted to purchase drum shields and run everything through the P.A. to keep the volume down.
This head sounds awesome. It has the transparency knob to add extra highs and give a passive bass an "active sheen". The lows are full and the mids are fully selectable and adjustable. It can be run stereo, and is also bi-ampable. The only "quirk" is : if you're playing alone in a totally quiet room, you can hear the head emit a low "hum" . It doesn't come through the speakers. I had a local reputable service center (Downtown Sound,Harrisburg, Pa.), check it out and they say it's the transformer causing the chassis to vibrate slightly. There's nothing wrong with the transformer, and it's not something you can hear in a band situation, I just want to be up front.
I'm looking for $350 plus shipping (U.S. only). Pics can be seen at: www.jackfrisch.com/swr/index.html

Would you be interested in a trade for a fretless 6 string bass that plays and sounds amazing? It has a 7 piece neck which consists of flamed maple, ash, mahogany, and purpleheart. You can see pics at wwww.angelfire.com/ar3/dismorphic

Great amps. I've had mine for a million years and we've been through hell and back..
