FS: SWR SM-400

Great, workhorse, USA-made amp. SWR SM400. When used in the stereo mode, the internal power amplifiers of the SM-400 will deliver 300 watts per side @ 2 ohms, 240 Watts @ 4 ohms and 140 Watts into 8 ohms. 420 watts bridged mono at 4 ohms (250 Watts into 16 ohms, 400 Watts into 8 ohms). Tube pre amp, sounds very warm, solid state power amp. Bi-ampable. Dizzying amount of tonal options (although, it's all bass sounds. It doesn't go from kazoo to plates crashing), with parametric mid sweep blah blah, aural enhancer...ah, read this.

Great amp, totally happy to keep it, but I am a gear whore and I'm always looking for something new. In decent shape. I have it racked, but there is some wear. Pots are clean though.

Looking for 325 plus shipping. If you are local, say from NYC to Portland Maine, we could probably work out a delivery arrangement. But if you are local, you probably saw my craigslist ad, so why the heck didn't you email me there?
