For sale is a slightly used IP310 that I bought from Jong (a TB'er) who owns Jive Sound. If you're looking at this, then the cab probably needs little introduction.
I am the only owner, and it's in perfect condition. There is one spot on the rear edge of the cabinet where it looks like it was bumped as there's an indention in the edge. The cabinet is carpet covered, so it's all good. The carpet and grill are in perfect condition. No fuzzing at all.
This IP310 has two EQ settings on the amp. One "Normal" setting, which has Jim's custom-set EQ that gives the cabinet a full, even voicing from top to bottom. If you want a studio monitor type of sound, this is it. The bass is deep and extended, and the highs are crisp but not sharp. The IP310 amp at 1000 watts with Jim's special compression controls and high X-max drivers allows the IP310 to put out this sound at full power. No joke, anyone who's heard one of these will tell you that it will absolutely destroy any 410 on the market regardless of what it's powered by, and will eat most 610's for breakfast. It's that monstrous when you turn it up.
The second EQ setting is "Dry", meaning the EQ is completely off, and all you hear is the natural sound of the drivers and cabinet tuning. Jim's compression control is still active in this setting, so you can drive the cabinet the same as above. In this mode, the bass is less extended, and the cabinet is much more aggressive sounding. It works extremely well for cutting through the mix without putting a pillow on the bottom. Low end is still very present, but more focused and growly.
The cab comes with 4 heavy duty 3" casters, which are in excellent condition. Also included is Jim's only padded cover, which has a large pocket that holds the power cable and 1/4" to XLR adapter for use with your favorite pedals or preamps. All of this comes with the purchase.
I have all the original shipping materials, so it'll ship nice and safe.
$1775 shipped in the con-US.
As for trades, Bergantino AE212, or Markbass F500 or LMIII plus cash. No other offers are being entertained.
I will post pictures of the cabinet including the one ding tomorrow.

Here are a few pictures. You can see that it is in perfect condition except for the one side ding below.

I took the picture from the side so that you can see it better. The indention is strange. It's almost as if the wood was dinged before the carpet was put on, as the edges of the ding are perfectly smooth as if it was sanded down like this. In other words, the ding doesn't have a lip around the edges from an impact.

I can't see this lasting more than a few days....
Good luck! |

[Is the phrase 'spare cash' an oxymoron?]
Bump for a great deal and a great TB'er.

Best Cab Evah Made bump. I love mine. I used mine at a gig next to a fridge. It sounded WAYYYYY better, and very nearly as loud.

| | | | I just picked up an original IP112 and pair it with the HT112.
Jim got it right with the IP line. Just incredible. |

| | Registered User | | | | | Thanks, guys. I might decide to yank this in a week or two. I've been playing jazz basses for about 2 years, but I'm about to pick up another Lakland 55-02 and 44-02, which I gigged with for quite a while for the jazz basses. While I just love a Jazz bass, I've decided that the 44/55 series Laklands just have that something special that work well in a live mix. The aggressiveness of that rear MM pickup combined with the fullness of the front J is just hard to beat. I haven't had a chance to do a gig with either of those basses on the IP310 yet, but my gut tells me that the more balanced tone of the 44/55 series instruments will be voiced really well through the IP310.
