Edit: New things I would possibly trade for- an Acoustic 370 in good condition (+ some money) or a 4x12 cab- ie SWR 12 Stack or similar! (and, of course larger Schroeder cabs / Berg NV cabs...)
I have an older Mesa Boogie D-180 all-tube amp for sale. It is the version with no graphic EQ. This is an amazing amp, with fantastic tone and the most a@#-kickin overdrive of any bass amp I've ever played! I just bought a G&L SB-2 impulsively and was saving that money to try out new cabinets, so....I'm looking to trade for a larger Schroeder cab- mostly a 410, 210212, 412, or 310212- if its the right cabinet I will pay shipping for both sides! Other possibilities include Berg NV215 or NV425 or an Aguilar 412. Theres a small chance that I'd go for a decent hybrid or SS amp in trade as well (as this is currently my backup amp!)- especially a Sunn in good condition. Or I will sell it for $650 shipped if I don't get any decent trade offers....Now on tho the amp....
I bought it because I wanted one amp to use for either guitar or bass, this amp excels at either! It is currently loaded with Sovtek 6L6GCs, if I wasn't going to get rid of it I was planning to load it with some 6550s. I have a matched set of 12 hardly used Sovtek 5881WXTs (same as the 6l6GC, I believe) that I will throw in for an extra $80- or maybe will split them up if I can find people interested! (the current tubes are pretty old!). The preamp has 1 JJ tube and the rest are assorted Sovtek and Mesa. It is cosmetically somewhat scratched up and is missing a screw and one of the rubber feet on the bottom (it was always rackmounted- no rack included though, my Mesa 400+ stole it!). The ground prong of the power cord wiggles a little bit, but has been no problem.
