Bump for a killer head. I've owned several micro heads and this one is by far my favorite. Good deal here, so someone snatch it up!

Question for you - I've recently heard about this head and I'm very interested... I heard that these have very high (studio) quality compressors on board, but I don't see any knob that would indicate that. Are they only on some models? Or is my 3.5 hour sleep night playing with my sensory perception?

Edit: I see what looks like "Spectracomp" underneath the Gain knob... but no switch to activate it. Is that a concentric stack knob?

There's a button that swaps from the gain to the Spectracomp, I believe its the one with the red label, next to the mute button.

Also swaps the eq adjusters to parametrics, so you can choose which frequency each knob affects.

to adjust the Spectracomp, you first press the shift button, & the Gain knob then becomes the knob for adjusting the amount of compression desired, aftet you're set, press the shift button again to lock in the setting ( or after non-use of ANY of the knobs for 20 seconds, the head automatically " shifts " back into it's original mode )

edit;

this vid on youtube shows the Spectracomp

& here's an absolute MONSTER bass player that i've met more than a few times playing here locally in San Rafael & the Bay Area playing the RH450

Hi

so if you don't mind
why are you selling?

this sounds as good or better than the GK MB2.

I can buy only one of these micro amps.

thanks,
Funky

the reason ? money

i currently have 3 heads, & this is the one that i can get the most cash back out of

& i can still play all my gig's with either the LH1000, or my MB-2, ( besides,,,,it's not like all the extremely inebriated clientele that i play for can hear any of the subtle nuances between these heads )
