FS - TecAmp Puma 500 (feeler....possible sale)

Looking to possibly sell my Puma 500. It is the original "powersoft" model. I am the original owner. It was shipped to me in Oct of 09'. It has been used less than 5 times....never even seen a gig....mainly just a few rehearsals and one church performance. Needless to say, it is dead mint!! It is factory fresh!! I have the bag, oem shipping box, manuals, rack ears, box swag, etc. Shipping would be two boxes; one for the bag and one for the amp. Unless you have a TecAmp 112 Puma combo, I am not looking for trades. My price is $800 shipped. thanks!

Hmm...miss the one I used to have. Very nice and tempting. What does "powersoft" mean?

Powersoft was the original power supply. They have now switched to a different power supply (along with a modified front end). From what I can gather, the new ones (with the "ice" power supplies) sound different from the originals (due to the change in power supplies and preamp modifications).

Thanks for the info. The buzz here is that the original sounds better (warmer?) than the new powersupply.

WOW....only lasted about 4 hours!! The Puma is sold. It will ship today. Thread will be closed when it arrives to it's new owner. Thx!

Hah, I didn't even get the chance to chime in with how great Puma's sound
