FS or Trade Avatar 410 Neo 10/10

Sign in to disble this ad
You know the story, band broke up, people had to go and get real jobs.

I have a like new black tolex Avatar B410 Neo with metal grille. 4 Ohm. Purchased direct from Avatar, I have been the only owner. Only been gigged a handfull of times, the rest of the time it sat in my rock room nice a cozy. I can add some pics later, but its flawless.

Its taking up too much room and getting no use so I would like to downsize. I would love to trade this for a similar-worth 210 cab. I see the Avatar 410 Neo's going for ~$400(+shipping) in several places, so if somebody has a 210 of a similar value give or take I would be interested in that. I could add some or take some cash in an exchange as well, depending on the cab obviously.

They are selling for $659 + $55 shipping direct from Avatar now. So just selling it I would take $400 + shipping or you could pick it up locally, that would be ideal. I am in 38655, about an hour south of Memphis, TN. I would be will to meet an hour or so in any direction if necessary.

Gonna have to pass as that is only *slightly* smaller than my Avatar. Really just looking to minimize my footprint. Thanks for the offer though.

So is this the deal with Avatar now? Everyone is upping the used price too, despite what he or she actually paid for it?

Thanks for coming in here and dumping in my thread, and therefore bumping it. I have no idea what your problem is or who put the stick in your ass, but I think my asking price is quite fair, if you don't you don't have to buy it, nor do you have to comment on it.

I purchased this Avatar cab direct from them, and paid the list price for it, so I have no idea what you are talking about in terms of "despite what he or she actually paid for it" as if there is some Wal-Mart of Avatar amps out there where they are going for 50% off.

Good day, jackass.

Sorry about my crappy post. I think that this is a great cab and is worth every bit of $400. Prices go up and down, that's just the way the world works, I get that. If this cab is still around by the time I get my tax return I may just pick it up, although I would really prefer an 8 ohm cab. How difficult is it to wire this cab for 8 ohm operation?

In a previous conversation with Avatar about this very thing for a 4 ohm B210 NEO I was told that everything, speakers and input panel/X-over, etc. would need to be changed and therefore not practical. This might be different with 4 speaker ohmage to work with so a quick e-mail to Avatar would get you an answer. Super cabs and good luck w/ the sale.

I'd love to try this out - if one of my basses sells I may have to give this a shot! Here's a bump in the meantime.

Thanks for the bump, as far as re-wiring I would probably be hesitant to do it with this cab, just b/c I am not an expert. If it was something older/crappy I might try it, but not with this one. I am sure there are a lot of 8hms out there though if you want that.
