Well, I'm only in one band at the moment, so I'm thinning the herd a bit...
I'm the original owner of this SLM-era Ampeg cab and bought it new in 2001. It's always been fed with the correct impedance (usually an SVT) and has never been overpowered.
Basic specs:
-4ohm impedance, 600W RMS (1200 program)
-Dimensions: 24x40x16"
-Weight: 110lbs
-Speakon and 1/4" inputs
-Rotary dial HF horn
The cab still sounds fantastic. All the drivers are original and still work great. I'd gig with it tomorrow with no worries. Functionally it's still 10/10.
However, I've gigged and toured with this cab a lot over the past decade, so it's got its share of tolex rips, some corrosion on metal parts, and isn't the cleanest you'll see. I'd rate it cosmetically about a 7...I've tried to detail some of the fugliness in the pics below. Also, it does have my band's initials and location stenciled on the back, but that's easy enough to paint over.
Basically, if you want a pristine "like-new" cab, keep looking. If you don't mind some cosmetic wear and tear, it's a fantastic rock cabinet.
Location: Downtown Kansas City, MO.
