FS: Verellen Meatsmoke pre-amp

Howdy folks.

Up for grabs - one Verellen Meatsmoke Tube Pre Amp unit.
$550 shipped.

So I've decided that the Meatsmoke isn't for me. It's an incredible unit, and Ben's customer service is second to none - but it just doesn't work with my sound.

This is in 10/10 condition - used for less than an hour in a studio environment. Take advantage of my poor impulse control when it comes to cool gear and snap this up.

Local pick-up is available if yr in the NYC region, other wise shipping is included.

EDIT: No trades - I'm sorry. I've got too much gear as is. I need the $$$.

I like how they misspell "Seattle."

LOL! That's how they get that "baked" tone.

Man I wish I had some extra cash right now for this!

I can speak only praises about anything Verellen. Ben Verellen is an incredible musician and makes some of the best sounding guitar rigs I've ever heard live. His band Helms Alee played a local venue here in gville a year back or so and it was...hands down...the BEST SOUNDING tone I've ever heard at that venue of any band I've ever seen HANDS DOWN. Everyone was blown away by the Verellen stacks he had on either side of the stage, that dude knows what he's doing for sure.

agreed. And as I said before - the dude's customer service is second to none. It just doesn't work with my sound, and it's too nice for it to be sitting around my studio unused…

Here's a clip of the Meatsmoke full head in use - the pre-amp sounds *exactly* like this. It's got a dark tone, a lot like a Fender Bassman or a Sunn Model T.

Is this in the effects classifieds too? This would probably move very quickly over there... a lot of Meatsmoke fans. GLWTS Bump
