FS: Vintage SWR Engineering Workingman's 12 combo...with upgraded Delta 12-LFA...

*****SOLD*****

Very good condition 1995 Workingman's 12 combo amp for sale. From the original SWR Engineering in Slymar CA. If not for the carpet pilling, this amp would be in excellent condition. NO dust/dents/tears/etc. Even the corners are in great shape, with just some minor marks. Power cord, and casters included.

21.5"H x 15"W x 15"D...47.5 lbs...nice and compact, and easy to move.

The pots have been freshly De-oxited, and best of all is the brand new Eminence Delta 12-LFA ($100.00) speaker. The Delta sounds great (deeper, and punchier than the original Celestion), and is WinISD approved for the box size. The Delta will also easily take all the amp can give power-wise, so no worries of blowing it up.

This amp makes a GREAT practice/rehearsal amp...you can run both inputs simultaneously, and also use the effects return as an input. So you plug into the passive jack, the guitarist in the active jack, and the drum machine in the effects return...instant jam session with one amp! There's a headphone jack on the back, with a switch that toggles between full range/horn off/phones only.

Additionally, there is an extra speaker jack to run an extension cab (8 ohm), and a DI., and tuner out.

The amp sounds great, and if it had another 100 watts, I'd be keeping it. It won't keep up with a heavy hitting drummer, but for a jazz/acoustic group, or upright player, it's perfect. This combo is built very well, and if my memory is correct, sold for $600.00 when new. This amp is VERY well reviewed, with almost all positive feedback, with the exception of wanting more power.

$300.00 shipped to the Conus.
