Hi folks,
I've decided to sell my old school Euphonic Audio iAMP as a project since I just bought a new rig and don't have the time or money to get this one fixed. This is the model that had a built-in tuner and Jensen DI. After contacting Gary at EA, I bought a set of 6 new Exicon MOSFET's (
http://www.profusionplc.com/pro/gex/...artno=ECX10N20) for $75 and had them installed. The amp powers on, stays cool, and produces full sound, although the sound is slightly distorted on the lower frequencies. The amp tech told me that there is a blown resistor and capacitor, most likely what's causing the distortion, but that the parts are cheap. It may also need to have the bias set, which I'm not experienced with. The preamp section works perfectly and other than these 2 small problems, the amp is in great shape, to the best of my knowledge. Since it is a project sale, I'm obviously selling it as is, but will try to provide as much detailed information as possible. I'd like to get $400 OBO shipped to CONUS. Let me know if you'd like any more information.
