It's time for an "everything must go" thread... I am completely re-doing my rig since I am no longer playing as much.

Thread for the rest of the gear...

http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showth...54#post7363754

In this thread I am selling my Yorkville XS800 head. 3 years old in June, practiced and gig'ed (no bar gigs) on a medium/light level in those 3 years.

http://www.traynoramps.com/products....&cat=40&id=390
The link will give you the basic specs, though mine is the Yorkville version (they went back to the traynor label about a year and a half ago) and mine is obviously the rackmount version.

The pics will show slight rack rash on the bottom of the head in 4 places. the rest are just fingerprints.

My experience with the head has been simply amazing. Never a single issue, not even an LED going out. The power is more than enough even for my Ampeg 8x10, especially with tube overdrive engaged. It offers many tonal options, between the tube or ss pre, as well as the tube overdrive. It's just a solid, dependable beast that will work every show.

I am asking $500 plus actual shipping in the Con US, and it will be shipped in a 3 space SKB rackmount case. The head itself is 3 space. The SKB case has a crack on the rear cover, but is still fully functional, and will protect the head. Paypal or Money order accepted.

More pics upon request.

Damn, if I didn't get laid off I'd be all over this........This is one of THE most under appreciated amps out there folks.

I wish I never had to sell mine, but that's just my kind of luck.

Thumbs up

Bump for a very cool bass head, I own one. It's very loud and you can get many tones... it can get SWR clean sounding and also have that soild state warmth of a GK. It reminds me of a cross between a 800RB and a SM900.

Best of luck with the sale, someone will be happy with this one.

Peace,

Bump for a fellow owner. This is my main gigging amp. Plenty of power, great tone(s), well built, a lot of features, and absolutely reliable.

Best of luck on the sale.
