FS: Yorkville XS800H Bass Amp

Hi All,

I have a Yorkville XS800H bass amp head for sale-I am asking $400 for a local (Philly area) pickup, or we can figure out shipping, which would probably be around $25.

The only reason I am selling is because I'm in college in Ohio now and couldn't take it, and so I had to get another amp there (I sold the 410 I used with this head already). Now I'm back in the Philadelphia area until February for my winter break, and I'm trying to get this amp to somebody who will use it.

Basically, it will give you as much power as you need (800 watts) and tons of tone shaping, including using a tube or solid state overdrive. I bought it because I had joined a band and thought I would need it, but we split up before I even had a chance to bring it to a rehearsal, but I just liked it so much that I had to keep it. It was used when I bought it, but it's in pretty good condition, I never took it out of the (smoke-free) house since I bought it.

The only trade I would consider would be a partial trade for an upright bass (that's what I'm trying to buy, since I'm learning it at school but don't have one here).

EDIT: I will also consider trades for any fretted 5 string electric bass. Make me an offer!

Only the name is discontinued. This amp lives on as a Traynor DynaBass 800H.

Same exact amp, different badging. I used to own the same amp. What a powerhouse!! I only sold mine to fund my micro amp GAS!

Oh I had no idea they brought it back! It's a great amp, too bad I sold my cab already, now all I have is a combo so I can't use this at all..But somebody will get this amp, that's going for $800 new, for $400!

It never went away. I think Yorkville wanted to concentrate on PA gear and since they are part of the same company decided to use the Traynor badge again for the guitar and bass related amps. Great products and possibly the best warranty in the business! During a certain period of time no matter how your product stopped working and whether it was your fault or not, they'll take care of it!

I swear by my two Yorkville Bassmaster XM200 combos. We also use a Yorkville PA that KILLS, and they are great for service. Wish I had a need for that much power, and if I did, I would not hesitate on this one. Bump.
