FT: Amp trade-a-thon - Markbass SD1200 and trace elliot hexavalve

I've got two amps I'm not using much these days and looking for some potential swaps.

First up: Trace Elliot Hexavalve
300 watt tube head, graphic eq

When I got it, it didn't work right. Kept distorting and freaking out when pushed hard. I had a lot of work done on this thing - XLR power jack swapped to a Speakon, entire thing rewired, all the tube sockets replaced, tube retainers added. Work done by Phoenix local tube guru TimV.

I value this thing around $1000 and interested in all varieties of trades, preferably local though.

I'm not interested in any more tube heads. Just don't work for me.


Markbass SD1200

It works perfectly, gigged over 10 times and played weekly in practice for over a year. Great amp, tons of power. Really benefits from a high pass filter.

I value it about $800.

Trade interests: Mostly interested in cash or lightweight amplifiers to try. Also very interested in cash.

When you say light weight amps, what do you have in mind?

All kinds of stuff is acceptable really. Also open to cash in the neighborhood of my valuations.

I'd be interested in, for example:
a Tecamp
a Streamliner 900
a Genz shuttlemax 9.2
a Markbass TTE 800


Under ~10-11lbs or some odd I guess.

The only light amp I would have to offer is a markbass LMII.
Hopefully I can get some cash on that tax return for the SD1200

Still around but cash is king here. Nice basses always an option.
