FT: Brand new Genz Benz Streamliner 900

Hey TB!

I got this amp about a month ago, it still has the feature description sticker on the top. This amp is one of the best I've ever owned, but as a modern gospel player, I'm just not a big fan of the tubey tone it offers. I've always played solid state amps, and probably always will lol!

Anyways, I'm looking to trade for something comparably powerful (700-900w), that is solid state. I'd prefer the Genz Benz Shuttle 9.0 or ShuttleMax 9.2 (with a little cash from my end). I like the portability of the Streamliner/Shuttle amps, but I also have a stinkin' 20lbs Ampeg B5r, so it doesn't matter that much lol.

Let me know what you have; I'll have pics up tonight after Bible Study. Also, I'd prefer something local (DC/MD/VA/PA/DE) since I'm not very comfortable shipping an amp with tubes in it.

Lol, yeah.....I realize how much a fan of modern sounding bass I am.....I went and played a Shuttle 9.0 anew days ago, and I just loved the tone!

Stix: I can TOTALLY understand where you're coming from. If you need hi-fi sizzle this is NOT the amp for you... if you want warm subtle not in your face upper mids... this IS the amp for you. I play at church & the modern in your face cutting mids doesn't work for me... the Streamliner warmth does!
Having both amps is really the answer :O)

that's funny, since I actually prefer the in your face upper mids for church lol....to each his own I guess
