FT (On the Cheap!): Ampeg SVT 810 Cab Project

Here's the deal: I bought this slightly road-worn behemoth a few years back and tore her down for cosmetic restoration. Well, as luck would have it, I found I needed a 3rd hernia repair and pretty much abandoned the project. I stashed the speakers (original), wiring, and hardware in a hall closet. The enclosure sits in a back hallway...the cats sleep in it like a giant birdhouse. I have every bit of the original hardware right down to the last speaker screw. All she really needs is new insulation and either Tolex or Duratex for the exterior.

There's no sense in pursuing the project on my end so I'm offering up the works in trade for something....anything! I don't have much invested but I'm not gonna give the durn thing away. Here comes the bummer: I will not ship so if you don't live within driving distance of eastern Virginia / eastern North Carolina, tough turkeys! I'm a reasonable guy and willing to meet somebody halfways provided its not Kansas City. What am I looking for in trade? Glad you asked. Strings, pedals, hardware,....I have a weakness for inexpensive preamps, too.

Please PM me with any questions or offers. I can snag some pics and verify the serial # if necessary.

I am seriously interested in this.

I have a few pedals and some other things I would be willing to trade...

Are you looking for a BASS project???

Let me know. I love in central PA, and would be able to meet halfway for this.

PM me and we can discuss the details.
