These cabs are about 2 years old. They are loaded with Beyma 12G40's (both 12's), Eminence mid speaker and a Selenium ST-200 horn. They are in immaculate condition because I bought the TUKI vinyl covers for them and because I haul my own gear. The only signs of wear on them would be on the bottom of the plastic corners and maybe some dust on the handles. They sound great, are easy to transport and throw a lot of sound. I was impressed with them and have had many compliments on gigs about the quality and amount of sound produced. The only issue I ever had was when new, I had a defective horn in the 1260 but once we diagnosed the problem I had a new horn overnighted and quickly replaced it (see picture). The build quality is really good...better than a lot of really expensive cabs that I have seen.
I'm not going to be gigging for a good long time so these will be sitting taking up space. Now for sale. $825 for the pair. Looking for a local sale. I will drive an hour or so in either direction to meet or deliver.

Not really wanting to ship them at this time. I bought these because they are incredibly easy to transport, they really hit hard and sound good and up untill the end of November I was gigging a lot and traveling a fair amount and these really made things easier. |

I have the current version of this stack, but with 3012LFs, and I will say this combination will do about anything a modern bassist that doesn't need 120 dB @ 1 meter will want. Low to medium volume gigs- the 1260 does. Medium to loud gigs- the stack does. Very well. I bet this sounds great with the Beyma 12's! And those covers are gorgeous. This is a really good deal, kids!
I have played my 1260/112 stack with several different heads, including the Genz Shuttle 9.0 and Carvin BX500. Nice. I've also played them with my Alembic F-1X and Carvin DCM600 rack, full range, bridged, and bi-amped. All excellent.
As I've said before, don't obsess on Marc Serio's recent business and legal problems. The guy knows his cabinet-building tech. These are outstanding bass cabs.

And you are right....he does know how to build some good sounding cabinets. The best part about these is that if you buy them from me.......you will be garunteed to receive them immediatly which may not be the case otherwise. |

The cabs were made (tuned /ported whatever the correct term is) for those specific drivers. http://www.drbasscabs.com/page3.html

Can I get really low lows of a low b string and still have it sounds like a 1x15 just ripped my head off? Dr. Bass fans please feel free to chime in as well.
lowmid1 is prolly tired of hearing from me

When you add the 112LF the amount of lowend that you get is pretty extreme and the pair sounds like something much larger. My opinion of the Beymas is that you can push them very hard and when you reach the limits of what a cabinet of that size can do, they sound clean clear and articulate and not the slightest bit strained. Does that make sense? |

Frankly I was a little apprehensive about using a 3 way cab. I can definitely vouche for the 1260 as a killer cab. When you add a 112 on the bottom it will handle anything you throw at it. My point is, buy this rig.
