FT Feeler: 1959 Fender Bassman LTD Relic'd Reissue

Possibly up for trade is my relic'd 59 bassman ltd reissue combo amp. From what I understand only a small amount of them were relic'd. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Includes a fitted protective cover.

Everything you've heard about this amp is true. Some think that it isn't the best thing to use for bass, but it does sound EXCELLENT at low volumes. Having said that, IMO, it is THE amp for guitar.

I'm the original owner and have probably only put less than 20 hours of use into it.

As for trades go, I'm interested in getting a combo amp that is really suited for bass, such as one of these:

Mesa Walkabout Scout
Mesa Venture
SWR Redhead
Etc, Etc...

I definitely need to keep the deal local (Southern California). I don't even want to imagine having to ship this thing.

Thanks for looking!

-Mark

My band broke up today, so it looks like I won't be needing a bigger amp anytime soon. So feel free to run all offers by me (including basses). Would be nice to have a P-bass...

Bump, I have this amp.... Custom shop reliced 59 LTD ... the beer stain is in the same exact spot! Yeah they are rare, Im not sure how many they made, but not many. These have solid pine cabs and tube rectifiers and sound absolutely outstanding. I use a Tele and a Les Paul through it, and as said before, its great for bass at bedroom levels. Good luck in the sale or trade, I wont be getting rid of mine! Last one I saw on EBay was going for 1300 bucks.

Thanks bro! I wouldn't be getting rid of mine either, but I feel like trying something new. I've fell in love with the Mesa Walkabout Scout and cant afford to buy one and keep the bassman, so it's gotta go.
