FT Feeler: GK 1001RB for GK 700RB

Have a Gallien Krueger 1001RB II that I bought from a fellow TBer recently. It's in great condition and I really like it.

My only "problem" with it is that it sounds best when it's got a chance to turn the volume up a bit. I'm using this in a church setting so the sweet spot for the head is actually slightly too loud for the band/room. I'm considering getting a lower powered GK so that I can find the right combination of amp sweet spot and volume for the room... The 700RB-II seems to be what I am in need of.

There's a $150 difference between the heads. I'd be open to an EQ or Tuner pedal being thrown into the mix or some cash...
