FT/FS: Crest CA6

Up for trade/sale is my cosmetically challenged Crest CA6. She is in perfect working condition but she ain't pretty. Pics here: http://flic.kr/s/aHsjwMZNEu I'm looking for $265.00 plus shipping from MD. Willing to add some cash for a trade.

On a trade I need a power amp or 2 Ohm Stable bass head:

Power AMP: I'm looking or something around the same power rating that is 2 ohm stable, 2 rack spaces and less than 16" deep for my PA rack. Crown, QSC, Carvin etc. A Carvin DCM2000L would be perfect but I'm open to something that will fit the bill.

Bass head: Looking for something 2 Ohm stable so I can rum my 8 ohm and 4 ohm cabinets together.

Thanks for the bumb JebMD!! This amp reminds of me of a girlfriend I had in my younger days: Not real pretty but real powerful

I ran this with a Marcus Miller Preamp a while back and it was just nuts. There are only 2 amps that I would run with a preamp set up. The crest CA6 and CA9. The CA9 was overkill for my needs so I opted for the CA6. I got a good deal because the amp had a few bumps and bruises so I jumped on it.

It ain't nothing out there like these crest amps for bass rigs. NOTHING else comes close.

I really wish I was in the market for a power amp - I see so much power for the money these days versus when I was actually buying.

I think it's a sign. I may keep this and get a preamp and a rack that will fit it. I used this this thing today and it kills with my newly acquired cabs.

I'm reserving the right to pull it. My GK 700rb II is up for trade for a preamp. Let's see what happens.
