SOLD

Just got this amp from a TBer, and while it is a great amp, I like my Eden just a hair better, so back on the block it goes. Here's the original thread link and my edits to Jerry's initial comments (hope he doesn't mind!):

FS: Epifani UL 502 - SF Bay Local Preferred

Cliff Notes Version
Epifani UL 502 amp, two owners bought new in 2006. Used condition. Includes Protec 2u rack bag and power cord, and now an Epifani foot switch to provide channel switching, muting and mid cut. Greatly prefer the following, in the following order:
  1. Trades (for equivalent value 4 string passive basses but throw other things at me),
  2. Local sale (New Jersey, NY, PA) to avoid shipping
  3. Sale in the continental US
Cost for local sale - $750
Cost shipped to your door - $800
Paypal is fine.

That's exactly what I paid - and now you get the footswitch too!

Unabridged Version
For sale is a used Epifani UL 502 amplifier. Serial # is 3736. I got this amp about a month and a half ago from another TB'er who used it as his go-to amp since 2006. It has a small ding and some scratches (photos below) but is in great performing condition. Included is a Protec 2u rack bag, rack ears (duh), power cord, and the original Epifani bag bought with the amp. (Although, the amp was in this bag when the corner was dinged, so use at your own risk.) The amp never been abused or pushed hard, and is being listed for trade or sale for two reasons...
  • While it sounds great, it's just not as good for me as my Eden.
  • If I'm not going to use it, I might as well get something I will use!
What I'd really look for in a trade is as follows:
  • Passive four string fretted basses of equivalent value. I'm partial to Fenders with maple boarded jazz width necks, but will listen to any offers. I've got the fretless thing covered so I'm pretty sure I'm OK there.
  • Epifani cabinets, preferrably a UL 1x15
  • Bass amp heads or basses of lesser value plus some cash on your end.
  • A decent electric acoustic guitar
  • A decent Telecaster
  • Low wattage tube guitar amps in 2x10 configuration
Photos are seen below and in the original post. PM with offers and quesitons.

Thanks.
