I recently been blessed to pick up an awesome 70s V4b, however I have to scale down a few things (small apartment). What I would like is a cab for my 400rb (backup head) to use for practice now at my apartment.
So....the B100R is on the block
Great tone, great looks. It has one small nick in the diamond fabric covering, and a small stain on the fabric on the front. The blue power on/off LED just stopped working too. None of this effects the sound. I have pushed it once or twice - it did hang with an oldies cover group I played with, but only barely with my current, much louder rock group.
So...a local trade for a cab would be awesome - 8 or 4ohm, 15, 12, 2x10, 2x12....whaddaya got? If I were to do a sale, I would look for $300, so hopefully that gives an idea of trade value. I'd be particularly interested in an Avatar 2x12!
Unfortunately...I don't want to ship this.....So local to Rochester NY (I could do Buffalo as well).
Also....for anyone interested - I just acquired with my V4b an older Sunn R115 Scoop cab. According to the seller, it has an EV speaker in it (I haven't looked yet), and is 8ohm. It's in great shape, has wheels and a cover! Its freaking huge though, too big for my apartment. So again...local....$100 or run a trade past me (anything bass related).
