FT/FS Mesa Boogie Bass Buster 200W Tube Head

I truely love this amp. I just don't really get to play it much anymore and it has been living inside of my church band's trailer lately. I'm really afraid that it's going to get tore up or the tubes busted, so before anything can happen to her I'm going to let some one else care for her. I've had her for about 3 years I put a matched sextet of Groove Tubes in it as soon as I got it. The only action she is getting is about 2 hours every Sunday.

I'm really looking to trade but I'll take $700 shipped if I can't find what I'm looking for. This list is in order of what I really want to what I least want.

Looking for:
Mesa Basis M2000
Genz GBE750
Mesa MPulse

for trade plus cash.
Carvin BX1200 or BX500

I'm open to offers for other heads as well. I'm interested in the Class D lightweights from Eden, Kreuger, Genz.

I'll have pics ups this weekend.

I see your selling your wedge... I sold my wedge and purchased the head and road ready 2x10 cab to ease road rash on the wedge. I'm kinda fond of the GTs.... the tech that cleaned it up when I first purchased it was a GT reseller and I got a good deal on them. They sound a ton better than the "made in china" tubes that were in it.

oh yeah, the chinese mesas are the pits.

tubes are a matter of taste, but this amp ISN'T. It is PURE, distilled and unfiltered AWESOME

and you should get your head examined for swapping this down for a class D

I've been "demoted" to playing guitar in the our P&W band and my Brother In Law (14yo) is the only one using the mesa. I'm getting too old to haul this heavey AMP around just to hear some punk play 16th & 32nd notes like he's cool while totally missing the idea of GROOVE.

I'm giving him lessons... but he is 14.... listening is not his strong suite.

I think I'll end up with a M2000 or GBE 750.... both of which I've wanted for a long time.

More than the Ampeg Cab I'm playing it through

I just put in the bathroom scales and it was in just over 55lbs

dude.... that's a wax finished antique white walnut double drop leaf... it's worth twice what the head is... problem with older wax finishes... if you set a hot plate.... or ear of corn you get this nice milky haze

milky haze all in my brain......

that was a bad idea
